Responsibilities

  • Analyze DLA information systems, OT, and IT infrastructure for compliance with DLA, DoD, and Federal information assurance policies and regulations.
  • Review system design documentation and proposed policies to identify cybersecurity non-compliance across NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.
  • Assist with or conduct Security Test and Evaluation and information assurance/cybersecurity assessment reviews.
  • Assess the effect of proposed DoD policy changes on DLA cloud, OT, IT, and cybersecurity architecture.
  • Develop and document cybersecurity standards, guides, system security designs, assessments, and operating procedures.
  • Conduct and document risk assessments for classified and unclassified systems, including risks, likelihood, impacts, safeguards, and decision recommendations.
  • Source vulnerability and threat intelligence from open-source and classified resources.
  • Handle COMSEC material in accordance with DoD and DLA procedures, including required annual training.
  • Maintain access to an authorized SIPRNet location and properly mark, store, and transmit classified data compilations.
  • Provide weekly status updates and produce implementation documentation, assessment reports, ISSE reports, risk assessments, recommendations, SOPs, and related task-order documents.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant IT experience and five years of relevant OT experience; OT experience may run concurrently with IT experience.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III and IASAE Level III baseline certification, with IASAE III allowed within six months.
  • Required certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GIAC Defensible Security Architecture, GIAC Security Operations Manager, CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, ACAS, ISC2 CCSP, and an approved Computing Environment certification.
  • Ability to handle COMSEC material under DoD/DLA procedures and complete annual COMSEC training if required.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include certifications or documented experience with modern security solutions such as blockchain or related cryptographic research.
