Base Salary
$126k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution for large-scale efforts or multiple smaller software initiatives.
- Provide architectural guidance and lead design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects.
- Lead code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects and promote reusable design patterns.
- Guide teams on software efficiency, performance, scalability, load, memory, and resource usage.
- Partner with TPMs, engineering managers, business owners, and technical stakeholders to assess risks and make delivery decisions.
- Mentor and coach software development engineers and their teams.
- Develop long-term technology strategies, engineering standards, and architectural guidance aligned with CTO guidelines.
- Drive adoption metrics for design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design patterns.
- Identify blockers and dependencies, manage escalations, and create clear delivery plans.
- Apply software development lifecycle best practices and support continuous improvement and new technology adoption.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and risk controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant application development experience or senior-level enterprise architecture experience as a subject matter expert.
- 2–3 years of Gen AI experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, AI strategy, AI governance, and Devin AI.
- Knowledge of AWS, Akamai, Lightspeed, and Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing.
- Ability to lead resources, serve as a functional subject matter expert, architect solutions, and drive adoption across the organization.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, development standards, technical risk, and business impact.
- Ability to work independently and influence teams and stakeholders across the organization.
