Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and improvement of backend test standards, frameworks, and validation tools.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, Pytest, TypeScript, and Playwright.
- Integrate generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI assistants into testing workflows and development processes.
- Use Docker and cloud environments to manage test platform services.
- Develop test strategies that improve coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness of backend test infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, quality, validation, and other stakeholder teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent testing standards and tooling adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in tooling development, software quality assurance, or validation engineering focused on SaaS products.
- Experience leading test frameworks and defining comprehensive test strategies.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks in Python with Pytest, Playwright, TypeScript, or comparable tools such as Java.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools, LLMs, or AI-driven testing methods into QA workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, software automation, collaboration, and independent working skills.
