Responsibilities
- Develop ML products and AI Lenses for image and video generation and editing, as well as LLM applications.
- Build augmented reality experiences using diffusion and flow-matching models.
- Create and ship generative AI pipelines and consumer-facing solutions for image and video generation.
- Integrate ML models and APIs into production and refine products through A/B testing and user feedback.
- Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, Lens Content, and Data Science teams.
- Evaluate open-source generative AI models and third-party AI APIs and services to support build-versus-buy decisions.
- Lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning and knowledge of mathematics and deep learning foundations.
- Strong programming skills in Python or C++.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics, or equivalent years of engineering experience.
- Experience in neural rendering, generative models, segmentation, object detection, classification, tracking, or related deep learning or computer vision applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of computer graphics foundations and experience with visual generative AI models for image and video generation and editing.
- Preferred: experience evaluating visual quality of image and video models and a successful track record in generative AI projects.
- Ability to learn new concepts proactively, work independently, communicate effectively, and prototype new ideas quickly.
