Responsibilities
- Build, automate, integrate, and administer AWS data solutions, especially AWS Glue and AWS Managed Kafka.
- Use Spark and PySpark with AWS Glue and other AWS services to develop scalable data systems.
- Configure AWS Managed Kafka topics and manage consumer and producer controls.
- Review and decompose an existing Java application for replacement with Mule services or Python-based Lambda services.
- Work with AWS Athena, EMR, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Databricks on AWS, and Snowflake on AWS.
- Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle using software engineering principles.
- Support large-scale client business development and delivery engagements and collaborate with global consulting professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with technology experience.
- 3–11 years of experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on AWS Services experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, automation, integration with AWS services, and Spark.
- Hands-on AWS Managed Kafka administration experience, including topic creation and consumer and producer control.
- Experience with Java development and the ability to review and decompose Java applications.
- Experience with AWS Athena, Glue PySpark, EMR, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Apache Spark, Databricks on AWS, and Snowflake on AWS.
- Ability to educate, train, design, and build end-to-end systems; adapt quickly; work across global teams; and understand application architectures and integration approaches.
