Responsibilities
- Design and develop a modern custom MES with a focus on C#/.NET backend development.
- Replace MS Access and LabView legacy systems with scalable software solutions.
- Deploy and operate applications on OpenShift and manage containerized infrastructure.
- Integrate and maintain the ELK Stack for logging and monitoring.
- Model data and develop databases using MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Create dashboards and reports with Tableau and Grafana.
- Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot in daily development.
- Analyze requirements with production, quality, and process stakeholders.
- Contribute to frontend components using Angular or React.
- Advise business departments on process improvements and maintain high-quality architecture, code, and documentation.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally more than three years of relevant software development experience with mission-critical systems.
- Strong C#/.NET knowledge with a backend development focus.
- Mandatory experience with manufacturing execution systems and manufacturing-related requirements.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong experience with relational databases including MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Basic frontend knowledge with Angular or React is advantageous.
- Experience replacing legacy applications and implementing process digitalization.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban development methods.
- Openness to AI-supported development tools.
- Fluent German at C2 level and good English at B2 level.
