Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business needs.
- Perform feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, systems analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Monitor development phases and provide user and operational support to business users.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on application issues and support system installation.
- Define and follow operating standards and essential procedures.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, and control risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spark, Big Data, Oracle, and Autosys.
- Knowledge of Agile processes.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
