Base Salary

$112k - $147k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, execution, and delivery of software artifacts involving Conversational AI, IVR systems, chatbot and web chat solutions, and cloud-native web applications.
  • Drive integrations between web channels, back-end systems, APIs, analytics platforms, internal platforms, external systems, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with technology, infrastructure, product, business, UX, and stakeholder teams to define scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead unit and integration testing and assist QA teams with end-to-end testing.
  • Coordinate with AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure teams to support scalable, secure, and high-performance deployments.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers across multiple teams.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and third-party integrations when applicable.
  • Guide the team in removing blockers, maintaining momentum, and ensuring quality.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of hands-on technical experience in modern distributed and disconnected systems architecture.
  • Proven experience delivering IVR, web chat, and AI-powered virtual assistant solutions.
  • At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software systems or applications in an agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a relevant field, or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with web development, API integrations, cloud technologies, contact-center and IVR technologies, and chatbot creation and integrations.
  • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, MQTT, RabbitMQ, Solace, Kubernetes, and Wi-Fi technology.
  • Experience with Node.js, Python, Go, and React, plus Git and CI/CD or DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in Conversational AI, agentic AI, chat bots, or voice bots.
  • Strong organizational, stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and documentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping, persona design, voice UX, and cloud and CX compliance standards.
  • Preferred knowledge of NLP, NLU, LLMs, or generative AI frameworks including OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or Amazon Bedrock.
  • Cloud certification and SAFe Agile experience are preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of an interview and reliable, punctual attendance are required.
