Responsibilities
- Build components for live trading and simulation.
- Refine and increase the automation and robustness of research infrastructure, including alpha estimation, risk modeling, and backtesting components.
- Build tools for signal blending, simulation, portfolio construction, the research framework, and dashboards.
- Maintain and update the platform to ensure stability, robustness, and security.
- Develop robust data-checking and storage procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve systems-related issues and release code fixes and enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or another STEM discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including NumPy, pandas, Polars, and scikit-learn, with an understanding of Python and library internals.
- Experience contributing to core Python numerical libraries such as NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX is a plus.
- Proficiency with Linux.
- Hands-on experience with software architecture and engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, profiling, and version control.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and machine learning is helpful.
- Proficiency with C or C++ is a plus.
- Experience designing and implementing trading systems is a plus.
