Base Salary
$200k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and build security controls to enhance Airwallex’s scalability.
- Design and deliver security improvements across applications and services.
- Develop detection strategies and response workflows for incident management.
- Build and enhance secure systems through integration and maintenance practices.
- Analyze telemetry to identify and mitigate threats.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure for resilience.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents to reduce risk.
- Assess system and network security for vulnerabilities and remediation.
- Collect and analyze threat intelligence to disrupt threats.
- Conduct defensive operations and threat hunting to improve security.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a security engineering or incident response role within tech.
- In-depth expertise with at least one major cloud platform.
- Strong knowledge of software development tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of attacker tools and incident response.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
- Self-motivated with a passion for solving complex challenges.
