Base Salary
$193k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable authentication and authorization systems.
- Own Hadrian's authentication stack including SSO, MFA, and service-to-service auth.
- Build fine-grained access control systems that scale across teams and partners.
- Develop frameworks and tools for automating credential provisioning and policy enforcement.
- Create identity models for machine-to-machine communication.
- Partner with Security to ensure compliance and troubleshoot identity issues.
- Work with the API Platform PM to enhance developer experiences with IAM capabilities.
- Set IAM standards and act as a domain expert on access-sensitive architecture.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in identity systems.
- Deep expertise in modern authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
- Strong understanding of access control models such as RBAC and ABAC.
- Experience designing IAM systems across multi-cloud environments.
- Security-first mindset with knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Ability to set technical direction and write clear design documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
