Responsibilities
- Design integration experiences focused on end-user simplicity and developer experience.
- Build backend services and integrations across Stripe’s payments products.
- Engage with external partners to determine and implement technical solutions.
- Work directly with users to understand business needs and translate requirements into concrete solutions.
- Collaborate with product, partnerships, engineering platform, and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to software platforms used across Stripe payments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience working across geographies.
- Experience building extensible, leveraged software solutions that scale to varied user needs.
- Ability to empathize with users and advocate for exceptional user experiences.
- Experience in payments or payments technology is preferred.
- Previous experience using Stripe products is preferred.
