Base Salary
$105k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy AI workflows with client security and engineering teams for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
- Build, evaluate, test, debug, and deploy production AI applications, including model integrations, tool-calling agents, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses, and secure platform connections.
- Create evaluation datasets and test harnesses measuring accuracy, false positives, task completion, latency, and cost.
- Contribute to architecture, pair programming, code reviews, integration troubleshooting, and support for Consultants and client teams.
- Own assigned technical deliverables, estimate tasks, communicate progress and risks, and document deployment findings with model providers and researchers.
- Develop technical demonstrations, proposals, reusable components, evaluation suites, and delivery playbooks.
- Explain model behavior, evaluation results, and security trade-offs to engineers and client stakeholders.
- Travel based on client and business needs, estimated at 25–50%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on software engineering and experience building or deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
- Experience with LLM applications, frontier AI models, agents, model tool integrations, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses, cybersecurity workflows, cloud engineering, or secure AI deployment.
- Working knowledge of security architecture, identity and access management, data protection, and secure AI operations.
- Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and MITRE ATLAS.
- Experience contributing to client-facing delivery or cross-functional engineering from requirements through deployment and handover.
- Strong troubleshooting, writing, presentation, technical documentation, collaboration, requirements gathering, and client communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include cybersecurity, cloud, engineering, or AI/ML certifications; experience with model providers, model serving, LLM observability, AI red teaming, sandboxing, regulated environments, fine-tuning, open-source projects, workshops, architecture reviews, and client demonstrations.
- Willingness to work independently, seek guidance when needed, support junior team members, and contribute to secure experimentation and emerging AI cyber capabilities.
