Base Salary

$105k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Deploy AI workflows with client security and engineering teams for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
  • Build retrieval pipelines, tool-calling agents, structured-output workflows, model integrations, evaluation datasets, and test harnesses.
  • Measure model accuracy, false positives, task completion, latency, and cost, and troubleshoot model, data, security, and production issues.
  • Own assigned technical deliverables, estimate tasks, communicate progress and risks, and contribute to architecture, pair programming, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Work with model providers and researchers to test cyber capabilities and document deployment findings.
  • Contribute to technical demonstrations, proposals, reusable components, evaluation suites, delivery playbooks, workshops, architecture reviews, and client demos.
  • Support Consultants and junior team members while delivering client-facing solutions from requirements through deployment and handover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on software engineering and experience building or deploying AI/ML solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
  • Experience in one or more areas including LLM or frontier AI deployment, agent and retrieval systems, evaluation harnesses, security operations automation, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, secure AI deployment, platform integrations, application security, or vulnerability analysis.
  • Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, MITRE ATLAS, security architecture, identity and access management, data protection, and secure AI operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, writing, presentation, technical documentation, requirements gathering, collaboration, and client communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% based on client and business needs.
  • Preferred qualifications include cybersecurity, cloud, engineering, or AI/ML certifications; experience with model selection and evaluation, agent orchestration, model serving, LLM observability, adversarial testing, AI red teaming, sandboxing, regulated environments, fine-tuning, or open-source AI and security projects.
