Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to design and maintain delivery systems.
- Build and manage automation for software build, deployment, and configuration processes.
- Manage AWS infrastructure and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering build, testing, and deployment.
- Develop monitoring solutions with CloudWatch and other AWS monitoring tools.
- Apply infrastructure and application security practices, including IAM, security groups, and VPC configurations.
- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment problems, system outages, and performance issues.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and document systems, processes, and configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ruby scripting.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Git or another version control system.
- Current or expired certification as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Developer Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
