Base Salary
$112k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features from problem definition through design, implementation, release, measurement, and iteration.
- Design and implement scalable front-end solutions using Next.js or React with a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Architect, deploy, and operate applications on AWS and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Use AI tools and agentic development workflows across design, coding, testing, debugging, review, and delivery.
- Partner with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into reliable technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and technical strategy decisions balancing speed, scalability, maintainability, and business impact.
- Collaborate across distributed engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and improve team workflows and engineering practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, including possible nights and weekends, to support production systems and service reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience building production full-stack software across front end and back end.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or React and a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating applications on AWS with Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, testing, observability, and maintainability.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong hands-on use of AI tools in professional software development workflows is preferred.
- Experience with AI coding agents, AI-assisted reviews, prompt-driven development, or multi-agent workflows is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, automated testing, and production operations is preferred.
- Experience delivering features in greenfield, early-stage, or rapidly evolving product environments is preferred.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or mortgage servicing is preferred.
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence engineering practices is preferred.
