Base Salary
$124k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable, reusable, and maintainable applications that handle large amounts of data.
- Own software work across development, testing, deployment, and production support while maintaining correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and leadership on technical designs and implementations.
- Contribute to technical architecture, design, code quality, and engineering best practices.
- Advocate for technical and non-technical improvements, including AI-assisted development workflows.
- Develop a deep understanding of CoStar’s business and Real Estate Analytics products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Production experience using AI-assisted development workflows and tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Strong object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Deep knowledge of modern server-side languages and application frameworks, including C#, .NET Framework, Web API, and Node.
- Knowledge of modern frontend languages and frameworks, including JavaScript and React.
- Expertise with relational database systems such as SQL Server.
- Expertise with software development practices including code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Expertise with source-control tools such as Git or TFS.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Experience with NoSQL systems such as Redis or Neo4j is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
