Responsibilities
- Lead the design and enhancement of scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security, and deployment workflows.
- Architect, provision, and maintain Azure cloud environments using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Oversee the stability, performance, scalability, security, and cost optimisation of development, staging, and production environments.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement to reduce manual work, increase deployment frequency, and improve release confidence.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to implement quality gates, security scanning, and automated testing.
- Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and environment incidents with global teams.
- Mentor engineers on release automation, branching strategies, pipeline optimisation, and modern infrastructure practices.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other CI/CD technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, with ARM and Bicep experience advantageous.
- Strong Linux administration and scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices and exceptional troubleshooting and incident-resolution abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with global and senior stakeholders.
