Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own core components of Safety AI Systems.
- Fine-tune open-weight multimodal LLMs and deploy them for synthetic dataset generation.
- Build robust pipelines for curating and evaluating multimodal training data.
- Develop benchmarks and evaluation frameworks for model behavior and data quality.
- Architect systems for continuous learning and feedback from real-world failures.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and safety specialists to create scalable AI solutions.
- Define best practices and technical standards for next-generation safety AI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Hands-on experience with fine-tuning VLMs, LLMs, or large multimodal models is a plus.
- Experience with data quality, evaluation, synthetic data, or ML infrastructure in safety systems is a plus.
