Responsibilities
- Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems with high availability and performance.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient software modules.
- Ensure designs comply with specifications and that specifications cover implementation requirements.
- Create and review design documentation and provide feedback on test plans.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience designing and developing applications using the Java ecosystem.
- Strong background in object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience with Java frameworks and technologies including Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, and JEE.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational database management system concepts.
- Experience with HTTP APIs and a basic understanding of concurrency concepts.
- Working knowledge of Maven, Git, and CI/CD principles.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, horizontally scalable distributed or microservices architectures, Redis, Elasticsearch, Hazelcast, or EhCache is appreciated.
- Strong teamwork, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
