Responsibilities
- Architect and own ML infrastructure for training, deployment, and serving across batch and real-time environments.
- Define technical standards for reliability, observability, performance, and scalable ML systems.
- Design and implement data pipelines for large-scale feature engineering and model training.
- Own ML platform performance and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Establish and evolve MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Partner with ML scientists to lead model development-to-production workflows.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead design and code reviews.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to roadmap decisions, and communicate technical strategy to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software, data, or ML engineering roles with a track record of delivering production ML systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and deep proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms, model architectures, and scalable ML infrastructure.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed data systems such as Spark or Kafka.
- Experience with ML model-serving technologies such as MLflow or TensorFlow Serving, CI/CD tooling, and ML platform design.
- Ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong language-agnostic problem-solving skills and production experience in at least two of software engineering, data engineering, distributed systems, or applied machine learning are welcomed.
