Base Salary
$145k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with clinical, product, and operations teams and own AI solutions from intake through production deployment and monitoring.
- Determine whether initiatives should be built, wrapped, or vetted and establish validation standards, acceptance criteria, evaluations, and escalation triggers.
- Build agentic AI capabilities using tool and function calling, RAG, MCP integrations, multi-step orchestration, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Architect solutions on the shared Prenuvo AI platform, including model serving, foundation-model contracts, evaluation, monitoring, tool registration, and prompt guardrails.
- Run initiatives through AI intake and risk categorization processes while coordinating formal sign-off with Regulatory, Privacy, and Legal.
- Contribute reusable templates, registered tools, or reference architectures and raise AI fluency through design reviews and office hours.
Requirements
- Six or more years of experience building and delivering product-grade software, including production AI-powered features using LLMs and/or imaging.
- Strong experience as a full-stack developer with Python, cloud engineering, APIs, deployment, and evaluation of probabilistic software.
- Experience building evaluation harnesses, defining acceptance criteria, assessing failure modes, and designing human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Ability to scope ambiguous product requests, translate needs into validated designs, and communicate validation decisions to clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes regulated or clinical healthcare-data environments, FDA, Health Canada, ISO 13485, PHI, AWS, AWS Bedrock, MCP, tool/function interfaces, consulting, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed work.
