Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Build, maintain, and enhance reusable automation frameworks.
- Analyze and resolve automation, environment, and test execution issues.
- Review automation scripts and test results for adherence to standards and best practices.
- Use AI-assisted tools for requirement analysis, test design, automation development, and QA productivity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Document defects, test results, and project status updates.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, automation practices, and software quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience across the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress for UI automation.
- Experience with API testing and automation using Playwright API, Karate, Rest Assured, Postman, or equivalent frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and required experience with Java; Python is an advantage.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
- Expertise with Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, backend service testing, and Git-based version control systems.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of AI-assisted software testing and preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, or equivalent tools.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools, build tools, performance testing, mobile automation, cross-browser testing, Docker, Kubernetes, security testing, test reporting, component testing, and cloud-based testing platforms.
- Knowledge or experience in the E-commerce domain is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Graduation is required.
