Base Salary
$86k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and technically lead enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java and modern web technologies.
- Build scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions and integrate internal, external, and third-party APIs.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot iOS and/or Android mobile applications.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization, optimize mobile performance and reliability, and support Apple App Store and Google Play Store releases.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in CI/CD automation and cloud-native containerized deployments.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development best practices, monitor application performance and security, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architecture and technical planning discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of Java enterprise application development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 11 or later, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices, SQL databases, and Git.
- Experience with Angular, React, or Vue and with iOS, Android, or both mobile platforms.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Preferred qualifications include native Android and iOS development, React Native, Flutter, .NET MAUI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Preferred qualifications include mobile security, encryption, secure coding, and financial services, banking, or regulated-environment experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, technical troubleshooting, and mentoring skills.
