Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade cloud-native applications integrating large language models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based AI components.
- Work in customer projects and cross-functional delivery teams to understand business processes, technical environments, and customer needs.
- Implement features, components, and integrations under senior engineering guidance while maintaining code quality and engineering standards.
- Prototype, test, and iterate AI solutions in customer environments based on feedback and changing requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design sessions, documentation, and development of reusable components.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve deployed solutions for reliability and operational stability.
- Stay current with AI/ML developments and apply new techniques to improve solution quality.
Requirements
- Foundational software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and hands-on experience in at least one cloud-native development environment.
- Understanding of AI and ML concepts, including large language models, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and API-based AI services.
- Exposure to data pipelines, MLOps concepts, or AI/ML model integration in applications.
- Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and customer-facing work.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned work, follow engineering standards, learn quickly, and respond to feedback.
- Interest in or early exposure to SAP AI Core or SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.
