Site Reliability Engineer III

- Guide teammates in designing reliable systems and adopting site reliability engineering best practices.
- Design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, post-incident analysis, and operational-signal analysis while validating outputs and following data-sensitivity requirements.
- Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for assigned applications and platforms.
- Use service level indicators and objectives to proactively identify and resolve reliability issues before they affect customers.
- Improve availability, reliability, scalability, operational maturity, and business outcomes through iterative improvements.
- Explore new technologies and address complex problems across applications and platforms.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in SRE culture, principles, and implementation within an application or platform.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for SRE workflows, including strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-sensitivity requirements.
- Proficiency with software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, AI, or Android.
- Experience with observability, including white- and black-box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling.
- Familiarity with containers, container orchestration, and troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
- Preferred: experience implementing customer-journey-aligned SLO programs and alerting for fraud screening, decisioning, or payment flows.
- Preferred: performance testing, capacity planning, resilience testing, fault injection, chaos testing, and disaster-recovery exercises.
- Preferred: improving operational maturity through runbooks, automated health checks, auto-remediation, and deployment guardrails.
- Preferred: familiarity with fraud detection or financial-services platforms, advanced Python/Bash/Go scripting, or AWS/Kubernetes certification.
