Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and monitor on-premises and cloud-based systems and servers.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and assist with software deployment and configuration.
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply updates and fixes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot operational problems.
- Maintain secure and optimally operating systems and servers.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python or shell scripting for system management.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Understanding of Linux administration.
- Experience with Ansible, Salt-Stack, or similar automation and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, including solid experience with AWS services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Runner.
- Preferred experience with Git and source control/revision tools.
- Knowledge of Agile processes and experience in Agile/Scrum DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance best practices.
- Understanding of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Ability to collaborate across US time zones and work effectively in a team.
