Responsibilities
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain mission-critical applications for portfolio managers, research analysts, and data scientists.
- Engineer scalable, reliable, high-performance systems and collaborate directly with business and technology stakeholders.
- Process large volumes of structured and unstructured market, news, geospatial, and alternative data through live data streams and pipelines.
- Apply AI, machine learning, and statistical techniques to support idea generation, risk management, predictive analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to code quality, performance tuning, application security, and the company’s DevSecOps culture.
- Experiment with generative AI, GPU computing, and other emerging technologies for real-time decision-making.
Requirements
- Expected bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering in 2026.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or a similar language.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools such as Git and JIRA.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of a team.
