Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of new or revised application systems.
- Identify system enhancements, analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
- Write basic code based on design specifications and conduct testing and debugging.
- Use business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues.
- Evaluate options and apply lessons from similar experiences when procedures do not cover a situation.
- Develop working knowledge of client-server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications.
- Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, safeguard company and client assets, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with programming and debugging used in business applications.
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of a specific business area for application development.
- Working knowledge of programming languages.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
