Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the development and deployment of generative AI and LLM solutions.
- Architect and oversee scalable data and machine learning pipelines and integrate AI models into production environments.
- Develop sophisticated algorithms and improve existing machine learning techniques.
- Fine-tune generative LLMs and apply prompt engineering.
- Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers while managing timelines and resource allocation.
- Deliver data science insights, cognitive services, and AI-driven products and solutions.
- Make business recommendations based on data and collaborate with business areas to define projects, requirements, and success criteria.
- Lead medium-sized projects and train or mentor junior team members.
- Guide the strategic direction of AI initiatives and stay current with advances in AI.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in machine learning, data mining, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and large-scale data acquisition, transformation, and cleaning across structured and unstructured data.
- Expertise in Python for data wrangling, visualization, modeling, and web application development.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP algorithms, deep learning, and generative AI.
- Knowledge of recurrent neural networks, long short-term memory networks, recursive neural networks, autoencoders, and related deep learning methods.
- Experience with scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, MLlib, Hugging Face Transformers, and open-source NLP/NLG modules.
- Experience with generative LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, presentation, and business communication skills.
- Proven leadership and collaboration on strategic initiatives for at least the last 2–3 years.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, postgraduate, or Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence, analytics, data science, computer science, engineering, information technology, social sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Strategic consulting experience, Docker, Git, and modern software development workflow experience are advantageous.
