Base Salary

$166k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure.
  • Own software delivery from developer commit through testing and field deployment.
  • Develop and manage software-in-the-loop environments used before deployment to hardware.
  • Deploy and operate on-vehicle Kubernetes infrastructure for mission systems.
  • Diagnose failures across build, test, and deployment stages.
  • Deliver software securely into classified, air-gapped, and disconnected government systems.
  • Deploy, debug, and test infrastructure on physical systems in laboratory and test-site environments.
  • Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining production CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure.
  • Production-grade software development experience in C++, Rust, Python, Go, or an equivalent language in a Linux environment.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in constrained or non-standard network environments.
  • Experience navigating complex delivery pipelines and diagnosing build, test, and deployment failures.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub, including branching and release strategies for production software.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Track record of high ownership and bias for action.
  • Preferred: experience with classified, air-gapped, or disconnected environments; SITL or HIL infrastructure; Kubernetes on constrained or embedded hardware; systemd; artifact repositories; package management; secure software supply chains; and government reference architectures or accreditation processes.
  • An active Secret U.S. security clearance is preferred.
