Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and optimize multi-stage computer vision pipelines.
- Train or fine-tune detection models on custom medical supply datasets.
- Develop dataset strategies using augmentation and synthetic data generation.
- Monitor and improve pipeline accuracy through metrics and model iteration.
- Design persistence schemas and audit data models for extraction review.
- Maintain and extend async Python backend services for pipeline results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in computer vision and object detection.
- Hands-on experience training and fine-tuning detection models.
- Experience building OCR pipelines for text extraction.
- Strong Python skills with experience in OpenCV and image preprocessing.
- Production experience with multimodal LLM APIs for data extraction.
- Backend engineering experience with FastAPI, Pydantic v2, and PostgreSQL.
