Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games.
- Implement, debug, modify, and support in-game features, development tools, and operational tools.
- Work on client/server-based applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Contribute to new and innovative games and game features.
- Participate in game design and collaborate with the game development team.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including its quirks and workarounds.
- Experience with data structures in JavaScript or another programming language.
- Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with IDEs, debuggers, and bug-tracking tools.
- Proficiency with code-versioning tools such as Git, CVS, and SVN.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming techniques and languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of React, AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS, or other advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Java, C++, Python, or other programming languages.
- Preferred: familiarity with Grunt or other front-end build tools.
- Preferred: distributed client/server application development experience.
- Preferred: game development, UI development, and animation experience.
