Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate enterprise-scale on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate cluster lifecycle and application delivery using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps tooling.
- Tune Kubernetes clusters for performance on bare-metal hardware.
- Implement Kubernetes security best practices including RBAC, Pod Security, and Network Policies.
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging stacks.
- Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-premises in production.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and container runtimes.
- Experience with automation and GitOps tooling such as Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, or similar.
- Familiarity with observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes clusters at scale.
