Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-ready agentic AI applications using agents, tools, prompts, planners, memory, and evaluation loops.
- Develop RAG services covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, vector databases, observability, and guardrails.
- Write clean, testable software and implement unit tests, integration tests, offline and online evaluations, red-team scenarios, and safety boundaries.
- Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Prototype rapidly, demonstrate solutions, communicate trade-offs and results, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into software systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and rapid learning.
- Proficiency in two or more of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, and Java; additional experience with C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, or Bash is beneficial.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, testing frameworks, containers, serverless technologies, and cloud SDKs.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
