Base Salary

$183k - $274k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own end-to-end software systems from concept through production.
Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Build and optimize data pipelines for accurate and timely data availability.
Drive complex, cross-system changes focusing on correctness and scalability.
Deliver high-quality code with strong automated test coverage.
Collaborate with product, business, and engineering partners to create scalable solutions.
Improve system performance and reduce latency for time-sensitive workflows.
Build internal tools to enhance efficiency for teams and partners.
Ensure systems operate reliably at scale, supporting 24/7 global traffic.
Use data to measure and communicate the impact of your work.
Participate in architecture discussions and mentor other engineers.
Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of production systems.

6+ years of experience in building and operating production software systems.
Strong fundamentals in computer science with experience in distributed systems.
Proficient in technologies such as .NET/C#, Java, Linux, and NoSQL databases.
Ability to take ownership of complex problems and collaborate effectively.
Clear communicator who can work across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with high-throughput systems and event-driven architecture.
Strong focus on code quality, automated testing, and system reliability.
Hands-on experience with modern backend technologies and performance optimization.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or relevant engineering field.
