Responsibilities
- Implement, test, maintain, and refine reliable, scalable, production-grade AI/ML solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of product quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, infrastructure, and data-related issues in existing AI/ML solutions.
- Translate business needs and requirements into technical implementation tasks.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, data analysts, product managers, solution architects, engineering managers, and business stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with AI/ML tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing methodologies, and maintainable software development practices.
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based AI/ML development, preferably using GCP and Vertex AI.
- Thorough understanding of AI/ML algorithms, development lifecycles, MLOps practices, and production-grade AI/ML solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across software, infrastructure, and data-related issues.
- Practical experience with version control systems such as Git and Agile development practices.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to independently drive implementation work while knowing when to seek support, alignment, or escalation.
- Proactive, curious, and continuous-improvement mindset with attention to quality, maintainability, and engineering standards.
