Responsibilities
- Build efficient, reliable, and secure cloud-scale data integration products.
- Build and maintain end-to-end build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Deploy and manage large Hadoop, Spark, and other clusters.
- Contribute to product architecture and feature design.
- Triage service issues, restore service with minimal disruption, and perform root-cause analysis, trend analysis, and post-mortems.
- Own components end to end from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment quality and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C#, Java, React, or Python; preferred qualifications also list C, C++, and JavaScript.
- Mandatory experience with data integration, data migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling.
- Experience building cloud services with multi-tier architecture is preferred.
- Strong software design and architecture skills across horizontally and vertically spanning features and components are preferred.
- Experience with high-volume data and API traffic, with attention to security, scalability, and performance, is preferred.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable Microsoft, customer, or government security screening requirements.
