Responsibilities
- Support assigned AI use cases from discovery and prototyping through testing and controlled production release.
- Translate user needs into technical solutions and provide evidence against quality, risk, safety, and performance measures.
- Build reusable templates, libraries, evaluation tools, and reference implementations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, investigators, subject-matter experts, Technology, and control teams on workflow testing, adoption, and user guidance.
- Document assumptions, decisions, dependencies, risks, and lessons learned under the direction of the Senior Forward Deployment Engineer.
- Support monitoring, incident response, rollback, change, resilience, and decommissioning arrangements.
- Identify and escalate operational, conduct, data, model, cybersecurity, and financial crime risks while supporting approvals and remediation.
Requirements
- Hands-on Python engineering experience through professional, academic, or substantial personal projects.
- Exposure to PyTorch or an equivalent machine-learning framework.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, API integration, evaluation, cloud technologies, automated testing, deployment, and observability.
- Experience contributing to software or AI delivery across discovery, prototyping, testing, release, or operational support.
- Ability to apply secure engineering practices and work with enterprise integrations, data pipelines, monitoring, incident management, resilience, and controlled change.
- Interest in financial crime investigations and ability to learn relevant workflows, evidence standards, and case-management practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
