Responsibilities
- Evolve the Elastic-based observability platform for reliable telemetry across products and operations.
- Implement end-to-end visibility across logs, metrics, traces, events, and application performance.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and alerting solutions for infrastructure, cloud services, and business-critical applications.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish instrumentation standards and improve application observability.
- Support proactive monitoring, incident response, anomaly detection, dependency mapping, and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize telemetry pipelines through onboarding, parsing, enrichment, retention, and quality controls.
- Define observability standards, reusable templates, monitoring practices, onboarding documentation, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Production experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, or platform engineering.
- Strong knowledge of logs, metrics, traces, alerting, dashboards, and service health monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, Logstash, Beats, and Elastic APM.
- Experience with cloud, infrastructure, containerized, or distributed application environments.
- Experience with scripting, automation, or Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Ability to collaborate with Operations, DevOps, and Engineering teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Business-fluent written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, service maps, SLOs, SLIs, or error-budget frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, networking, databases, and application runtime platforms.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Benefits
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring attendance at the Katowice office three times per week.
- Monthly base salary starting from 13,000.00 PLN gross.
