Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support scalable web and database applications, including AI-powered features and intelligent automation.
- Design, build, configure, and deploy AI agents and copilot experiences using Microsoft Copilot Studio and related orchestration platforms.
- Integrate Azure OpenAI Services, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, and other AI services into enterprise applications.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and similar agentic coding tools to improve development velocity, code quality, and team practices.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, code walkthroughs, test plans, completed-code documentation, prompt templates, and AI agent behavior specifications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, AI component validation, and prompt regression testing before releases to QA and production.
- Collaborate with Information Services teams, business and QA analysts, project managers, stakeholders, vendors, and solution architects.
- Assess requirements, AI feasibility, data readiness, ethical considerations, and responsible use of AI technologies.
- Stay current with AI tools, models, and techniques and identify opportunities to improve firm operations and client service delivery.
- Present complex technical and AI concepts, mentor and train developers, and provide troubleshooting and issue resolution support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience using Microsoft .NET, including .NET Core or .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.
- 2+ years of experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- 2+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI technologies, including prompt engineering, AI agent development, and production integration of large language models.
- Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor, with demonstrated productivity and code-quality improvements.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures using vector databases such as SQL Server 2025, Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or Qdrant, along with semantic search techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, or AutoGen for multi-step agentic workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Search.
- Knowledge of application data encryption; .NET Data Protection is a plus.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, transparency, and data governance.
- Familiarity with secure coding and enterprise compliance requirements related to AI data handling and privacy is a plus.
- Experience with mobile-native web capabilities, cache servers, web sockets, service workers, and backplanes is a plus.
- Prior legal-industry exposure and experience with troubleshooting and issue-resolution methodologies are a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, confidentiality, prioritization, intellectual curiosity, and multitasking abilities are required.
