Responsibilities
- Develop and support complex vendor integration solutions across the full development lifecycle.
- Create technical design documents and develop bi-directional and reverse interfaces using proprietary tools and integration engine technologies.
- Develop templates and certify new vendors, products, and functionality against Quest and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and document beta client interface projects, secondary development efforts, and test plans.
- Provide Tier 3 Service Manager support for complex production interface and integration issues.
- Develop, implement, and test high-complexity production enhancements for HUB vendors and customers.
- Monitor integration engine reports and resolve problematic customer issues.
- Support FHIR, HL7 LRI guides, genomic reporting, HUB interface setup, and other emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and external clients while following Quest Diagnostics’ mission, values, and standards.
Requirements
- Degree such as a BS or BA, or comparable experience.
- 3–5 years of Epic HL7 laboratory implementation experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory customer connectivity role.
- Preferred 5+ years of healthcare industry or clinical information systems support experience.
- Proficiency with multiple laboratory information system platforms deployed at Quest Diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of connectivity support tools, processes, environments, call tracking software, Quanum, interfaces, and HL7.
- Ability to learn emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
- Strong customer service, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-resolution skills.
- Combination of Information Technology, customer service, and project management skills or equivalent training.
