Responsibilities

  • Develop and support complex vendor integration solutions across the full development lifecycle.
  • Create technical design documents and develop bi-directional and reverse interfaces using proprietary tools and integration engine technologies.
  • Develop templates and certify new vendors, products, and functionality against Quest and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and document beta client interface projects, secondary development efforts, and test plans.
  • Provide Tier 3 Service Manager support for complex production interface and integration issues.
  • Develop, implement, and test high-complexity production enhancements for HUB vendors and customers.
  • Monitor integration engine reports and resolve problematic customer issues.
  • Support FHIR, HL7 LRI guides, genomic reporting, HUB interface setup, and other emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and external clients while following Quest Diagnostics’ mission, values, and standards.

Requirements

  • Degree such as a BS or BA, or comparable experience.
  • 3–5 years of Epic HL7 laboratory implementation experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory customer connectivity role.
  • Preferred 5+ years of healthcare industry or clinical information systems support experience.
  • Proficiency with multiple laboratory information system platforms deployed at Quest Diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of connectivity support tools, processes, environments, call tracking software, Quanum, interfaces, and HL7.
  • Ability to learn emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Combination of Information Technology, customer service, and project management skills or equivalent training.
