Base Salary
$115k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and improve AWS and Amazon C2S cloud capabilities and architectures.
- Perform operational engineering, integration, release management, implementation, migration, and knowledge transfer.
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and Config.
- Automate deployments, patching, provisioning, backups, scaling, routine maintenance, and system configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools and scripting.
- Support monitoring, alerting, incident response, reliability and availability improvements, logging, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tracking.
- Manage integration and testing environments across on-premises, unclassified, classified, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop automated integration, regression, and acceptance testing approaches and support deployment orchestration.
- Produce and maintain build guides, runbooks, diagrams, operational procedures, and code documentation.
- Participate in release management and Agile ceremonies, using Jira for task tracking.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 8–12 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least four years of extensive experience with AWS cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- At least four years of experience implementing Amazon C2S-enabled architectures and tools, including Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, JMeter, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Docker, Git, and S3.
- At least four years of experience building end-to-end AWS solutions using object-oriented programming, including Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP, and the AWS SDK.
- Experience with cloud architectural design, deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
- IAT Level II Baseline Certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automated patching and system configuration, and commercial cloud environment design is preferred.

- Anticipated base salary range of $115,000–$125,000 per year.
