Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Arm’s Telemetry solution for applying performance methodologies and acting on performance signals.
- Collaborate with architects and analysis teams to turn findings and requirements into features, tests, examples, and documentation.
- Validate performance methodologies using synthetic workloads and targeted microbenchmarks, occasionally in Arm assembly.
- Partner with kernel and firmware teams to ensure performance-measurement primitives such as PMUs and perf_event interfaces are available and usable.
- Own larger features end-to-end and collaborate on incremental code design and review.
Requirements
- Strong Python experience for tooling, data processing, and workflow automation.
- Comfortable working in C/C++ across kernel and userspace low-level performance systems.
- Proficient debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience shipping developer-facing tools and iterating with real users.
- Experience owning complex features end-to-end.
- Preferred qualifications include SQL/SQLite, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, WebSocket, hardware system architecture, open-source contributions, CI/CD, operating-system primitives, assembly basics, and familiarity with Arm architecture.
