Production Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own the production and calibration software system for radar sensors and integrate it with new hardware lines.
- Design and implement cloud-based and web-based applications for data collection, real-time monitoring, and hardware control.
- Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing engineers to resolve production issues and improve system performance.
- Drive architecture for scalable software systems supporting high-volume hardware production.
- Monitor system health and production performance metrics, and implement proactive measures to prevent outages.
- Develop adaptable frameworks and tools for future hardware product lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Python experience for scientific or engineering applications, including NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
- Experience with Git or another version control system and agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of Unix/Linux directory structures and system layouts.
- Experience deploying or managing cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting network-connected test and measurement devices such as DAQs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with OT network segmentation and security practices, plus TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP networking.
- Preferred qualifications include web application development with Flask, Django, or FastAPI; frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js; embedded and low-level systems programming; CI/CD pipelines; Pytest; Linux server management; shell scripting; sensor-system testing; and mathematics and physics.
