Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate security incident response from detection to post-incident review.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks.
- Design, build, and tune detection rules and event correlation logic.
- Proactively hunt for threats and indicators of compromise.
- Improve SIEM capabilities and own log collection strategy.
- Write internal software to automate security workflows.
- Support the third-party security program by evaluating vendor security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or operations.
- Hands-on experience leading incident response efforts.
- Strong threat detection engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Deep familiarity with SIEM platforms and query languages.
- Experience with cloud environments and associated log sources.
- Strong understanding of attacker tactics and experience with MITRE ATT&CK.
