Base Salary
$195k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with AI development teams to identify, size, and design cloud resources for their solutions.
- Author and maintain Terraform modules and configurations across AWS and Azure.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, and deployment automation.
- Manage software releases across isolated, testing, and production environments.
- Write Python and Bash scripts and tooling to automate operational work.
- Collaborate with security teams to identify and resolve threats to deployed cloud services.
- Read application architecture, write code, and improve the developer experience.
- Support infrastructure and deployments end to end across multiple projects.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Enterprise-scale AWS experience designing and operating production cloud resources.
- Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of networking and communication between cloud services.
- Experience managing security for deployed cloud services.
- Understanding of cloud disaster recovery, including backup, failover, and restoration.
- Experience releasing software through isolated, testing, and production environments.
- Microsoft Azure experience alongside AWS is preferred.
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or data-intensive applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as coding assistants and agents is preferred.
- Ability to reason about application architecture and advise on hosting and deployment decisions is preferred.
- Database experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and NoSQL databases is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across development, architecture, and security teams is required.
