Base Salary
$270k - $410k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve requests and issues from Netflix’s engineering workforce.
- Develop automation, tools, scripts, runbooks, and self-service knowledge bases to improve support efficiency.
- Maintain and improve support tools and understand the company’s productivity infrastructure, platforms, and product offerings.
- Use JavaScript and Node.js to build solutions across frontend interfaces, tooling, and HTTP servers.
- Troubleshoot GraphQL schemas, resolvers, queries, and federated-graph architecture.
- Provide customer insights and product feedback to Product Management and Engineering partners.
- Create technical documentation, tutorials, and developer education materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce product friction and improve usability for the developer community.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional support or engineering experience, particularly with JavaScript technologies and platforms.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js across frontend UI, tooling, and HTTP servers.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, and MCP.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL and federated-graph architecture.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Web APIs, frontend build tools, package managers, server-side templating, and frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn, React, Angular, Vue.js, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
- Experience developing automation tools and scripts and improving support processes.
- Strong practical knowledge of Git and GitHub, including branching, merging, pull requests, reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer support in a complex organization and troubleshoot ambiguous technical problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-base creation skills.
- Familiarity with Node gRPC, service-to-service IPC calls, gRPC statuses, interceptors, and Protobuf is an additional advantage.
- Experience building and maintaining mature support infrastructure and collaborating across time zones is an additional advantage.

- Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with no bonuses; the stated compensation range is $270,000.00-$410,000.00 and varies by location.
