Responsibilities
- Build and deliver product innovations across Catawiki’s marketplace and internal platforms.
- Create responsive, accessible web frontends using TypeScript and ReactJS.
- Optimize product performance through measurement, monitoring, and data-informed improvements.
- Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers on A/B tests and iterative experimentation.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, mobile, QA, design, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Design, implement, deploy, monitor, and manage production applications.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Frontend Engineer using JavaScript or TypeScript, supported by a strong portfolio of frontend work.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP/S, the Critical Rendering Path, CORS, caching, and CDNs.
- Familiarity with ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, and/or Rails.
- Experience working in product companies with autonomous, cross-functional teams.
- Experience owning applications in production with attention to availability, latency, and consistency.
- Understanding of SOLID and DRY principles and consideration for accessibility, security, SEO, performance, testing, observability, internationalization, and typing.
- Ability to collaborate, share knowledge, raise team capability, and iterate based on product insights.
- Familiarity with NodeJS and running it in production is preferred.
