Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services and APIs for Paradox’s core AI products.
- Build scalable, resilient, and performant infrastructure that integrates LLM capabilities into production systems.
- Bridge AI research and production software by focusing on latency, reliability, and observability.
- Design and implement LLM evaluation frameworks for assessing and integrating new models into production flows.
- Promote engineering standards through code reviews, architectural design, distributed-systems practices, and clean software development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on backend software development experience building complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python and modern backend technologies and API design.
- Direct production experience developing LLM-based products, including agents or RAG systems.
- Experience with system architecture, cloud-based environments, and CI/CD flows.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of automated testing across the testing pyramid and Clean Code principles.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Authorization to work in Israel.
- Preferred: experience with vector databases, LLM observability tools, conversational AI, dialogue management systems, MLOps, monitoring LLM performance, data science, or data engineering.
