Responsibilities
- Lead technical and business testing team members in preparing and executing core investment banking testing initiatives.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews with Product, Business Analysis, and Development teams.
- Perform requirements reviews and traceability analysis to assess test coverage.
- Oversee test execution, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, defects, and quality reporting.
- Conduct test execution, root cause analysis, and monitoring of QA activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to mature the QA program and improve product and service quality.
- Drive automation and help advance a target state with minimal manual QA intervention, including Generative AI-related quality initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of Quality Assurance experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong experience with API testing and proficiency in SQL and MongoDB.
- Strong UNIX, Shell, Perl, and Python scripting experience.
- Experience with BDD, Agile, and DevOps testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium using BDD or TestNG frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, including Playwright, Selenium, and JUnit, is beneficial.
- Experience with Generative AI concepts and their application in product development or quality assurance is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Copilot is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, business acumen, and testing-strategy skills.
- Ability to work against tight deadlines, adjust priorities quickly, translate strategy into actionable plans, and work late when needed to support teams in other geographies.
